Farm
- Located approximately 20 minutes from New Plymouth
- Milking 600 cows (180,000 kg MS)
- Large self-contained farm including young stock
- Flat, easy contoured land and well drained
- Herringbone cowshed, good races with many sheds/barns
- Potential to purchase some of the current herd which consists of Cross-breed - Friesian-Jersey and Friesian-Aryshire
- Calving Dates – Prefer August being a later calving herd
- Housing available on farm for Sharemilker and any staff employed
Couple/Individual
Our client is looking for an experienced applicant with a solid farming work history and the relevant machinery.
A positive attitude is critical, but you will also possess;-
- Proactivity, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly skilled in pasture management, animal husbandry and feed allocations
- Desire to work with owners to maximise production opportunities
